Alton Owen Allen, age 75, of McDonough, GA died Thursday, March 17, 2016. He was born in Valdosta, GA to the late Charles Lewis and Hettie Oakley Allen. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles R. Allen, Thomas N. Allen, Harold Loyd Allen and sister, Julia R. Storey. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, McDonough. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Donna Allen, McDonough, GA; daughter, Hollie Shepard, McDonough, GA; grandson, Will Shepard, McDonough, GA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Rick Maeser officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 3:00-4:00pm at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.
