Archie Garrett Cowley Jr., 83, died Dec. 27, 2012, at Pickens County Medical Center. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Gray officiating. Mr. Cowley was born April 1, 1929, to the late Archie Garrett Cowley Sr., and Annie Trigg Cowley. He was a retired sales employee with Delta Airlines. Survivors include his wife, June Cowley of Guyton, Ga.; son, Archie Garrett Cowley III of Ethelsville; stepson, Rick Tolbert of Guyton; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
