Obituary​

Bobby Mote 79, of Williamson, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022. Bobby was born on November 9, 1942, to Duma Lee Mote and Kathleen Mote in Newnan, Georgia.

Bobby attended University of West Georgia and Atlanta Technical College, where he received his “Airframe & Powerplant” license. He then went on to a 40 year career with Northwest Airlines, where he retired in 2002.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Duma Lee Mote and Kathleen Mote; and his sister, Sarah Lee Crider. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Mote; brothers, Charles (Carolyn) Mote of Covington and Ronald (Linda) Mote of Riverview, Florida; children, Chris (Glenice) Mote of Moreland, Kevin (Lisa) Mote of Newnan, Susie (Paul) Kocsis of Fayetteville, Zach (Jessi) Mote of Carrollton, Amy (Robert) Higginbotham of Williamson, and Kristy (Craig) Marshall of Newnan; grandchildren, Taylor Mote, McKenzie Mote, Lily Williams, Paul Kocsis Jr., Jack Higginbotham, Grant Higginbotham, Brady Marshall, Addie Marshall, Izzy Marshall, and Will Mote; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City.
