Obituary​

Mrs. Brenda Annette Selvage Henson, age 75 of Panama City, Florida passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital.

Brenda was born in Marshall County, Alabama on September 7, 1947, to Lester & Grace T. Selvage. After living in Alabama and Tennessee, Brenda and her husband, Sonny, settled in Florida. Brenda spent many years employed with Delta Airlines.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Roy “Sonny” Henson; her brother-in-law, Jerry Henson; two nieces; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Grace Selvage; and sisters, Betty Campbell and Lois Stephens.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Grant Memorial Chapel with Rev. Anthony Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery near Union Grove. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 5-8 p.m.
