Carla "Carla Mae" Rutledge, age 51 of Snellville, GA died October 1, 2007. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Gruber in 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Nicki Rutledge-Nichols of Snellville; parents, Carroll and Betty Rutledge of Lilburn; fiance, Sam Standrod of Suwanee; cousin and best friend, Denise and Ricky Rutledge of Lilburn; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Carla was employed with Northwest Airlines for the past 30 years, as a flight attendant. She traveled extensively across the world and loved her many co-workers and friends that she traveled with. She loved antiques and had booths in Lilburn, Bethlehem and Snellville where she made many many friends.A Memorial Celebration of Carla life will be held Thursday, October 4 at 4pm at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Preston Moore, Rev Don Hardison and Ricky Rutledge officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8pm and Thursday from 3 until service time at the funeral home. Those desiring may make donations to the Susan G.
