Mr. Herbert Franklin Stubbs, age 72 of Griffin, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Spalding Regional Hospital. Mr. Stubbs was born in Griffin, Georgia on March 15, 1943. He is preceded in death by his parents, Erma Stubbs and Ruby Waldrup Stubbs. Mr. Stubbs was retired from Northwest Air Lines and a member of Highland Baptist Church. After his retirement, Mr. Stubbs was employed with Walmart. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Peeples Stubbs; daughter, Laurie Ann Stubbs; step children, Bruce Darren Davis, Tara D. Phipps, Colby M. Bell, Jordan M. Bell and wife, Nicole; step grandchildren, Zach, McKenzie, Leyton, Zoie, Cora, Colton; brothers, Wendell Stubbs, Danny Stubbs; sisters, Carol Bunn, Thalia Beck; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Herbert F. Stubbs will be on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
