Obituary​

Mrs. Katherine B. Glawson, 82, of McDonough, passed away January 7, 2008. She was retired from Northwest Airlines, a member of The Rock Baptist Church, a member of the D.A.V. Auxilary and the American Legion Auxilary. She was preceded in death by her son, Marshal Carpenter. Surviving are husband, Joseph J. Glawson; son, Danny Carpenter of Athens; daughter, Trudi Baudo of McDonough; sister, Emily Garrett of Hiawassee; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2008, 1 p.m. at The Rock Baptist Church with Dr. Don Basel, officiating. Interment will follow in The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends TODAY, Wednesday, January 9, 2008, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Inc., Jonesboro/Stockbridge, 770-210-2700.
