Larry Lee Walters
November 4, 1947 - April 27, 2019

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Allie Lee Walters and Mary Jane Henley Walters of Winchester, TN. He is survived by his children, daughter Loni Walters of Donaldson, Tn. and his two step children, Troy Walters of Harvest, AL and Tracy Newton of Florence, AL. In addition, two siblings -- a brother Nick (Pam) Walters of Fayetteville, TN and sister Melissa Walters (Kenny) Bell of Bon Aqua, TN. as well as, several nieces and nephews

He was a 1966 graduate of Tullahoma High School in Tullahoma, TN. and earned a BS from Athens State College and a Master's of Science from Florida Institute of Technology.

Larry worked in the Airline Industry throughout most of his working years starting at Southern Airlines and retiring from Northwest Airlines.

He enjoyed traveling and visiting foreign countries, but his favorite was Hawaii where, upon his request, some of his remains will sprinkled in Hanauma Bay, Oahu by his family.

Larry took great pleasure in his work with the Masons and Shriners. Throughout his like he was a member of several lodges and was currently a member of Hiran Lodge #7 of Franklin, TN., The Royal Order of Jesters and Amara Shrine. In addition, he was a member of the Elks Lodge of Franklin, TN.

He fought a brave battle but finally succumbed to Kidney Disease. In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry's honor may be made to the Shriners Burn Hospital In Memphis, TN.

A graveside service will be held at Mount Garner Cemetery in Decherd, TN on May 4, 2019 at 10:00am
