Obituary​

Lawrence Darwin Freeman, 69, of Marietta passed away Friday, February 15, 2013.  Services will be 11:00 am Friday at Roseland United Methodist Church with Reverent Nancy Willard officiating.  Interment will follow at Taylor Memorial Methodist Church Cemetery in Jackson Springs, NC.  A native of Eagle Springs, NC, Mr. Freeman was retired from Southern/Republic/Northwest/Delta Air Lines in Atlanta.  He was of the Methodist faith.  He is survived by his wife, Edna H. Freeman of Marietta; Children, Brian L. Freeman and wife, Toni of Temple, GA; Lottie L. Freeman of Marietta and Leslie F Harbour and husband Benjamin of N. Wilkesboro, NC; Siblings, James Freeman of Eagle Springs, NC, Linda Britt of Indian Trails, NC, Phyllis Hannah of West End, NC, and Arnold Freeman of Eagle Springs, NC and 7 grandchildren.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst, NC West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA  30064 770-419-9234 is in charge of the arrangements.
