Lyoyd Talton Warner

Lloyd Talton Warner went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2019, at the age of 85. He was born on April 6, 1933, in Columbia, Louisiana, to George and Aretha Warner.Lloyd was a graduate of Ogden High School and earned a business degree from Northeast Louisiana University. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Lloyd began a lifelong career in the airline industry in 1961 with Southern Airways and retired from Northwest Airlines in 1993 Lloyd had a servant's heart and spent his life ministering to others. He was a lay preacher, serving in the jail ministry for over 30 years, and was an interim speaker in numerous churches in Louisiana. He was an ordained deacon and member of West Conroe Baptist Church. He loved to have fun, tell stories that brought laughter, and make new friends everywhere he went. He was a blessing to all who knew him and was faithful in sharing the gospel with others. He also had a passion for bass fishing and gardening. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Carmen Lanette Warner, and brother Floyd Warner. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara Ann Warner, daughter Sharon Warner Box and husband John, grandsons Braden and Bryce, nieces Glenda Boyd and Wanda Poland, and numerous friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 12, at 11:00 AM at West Conroe Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment was held at Klein Memorial Park in Magnolia, Texas In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the In Touch Ministry of West Conroe Baptist Church, 1855 Longmire Road, Conroe, Texas, 77304.
