Myron Dennis Carter, 66, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away August 10, 2019. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 23, 1953 to James and Katie Carter, Mr. Carter retired from Delta Airlines with 43 years of service in the airline industry. A member of the NRA and the International Association of Machinists, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was also an avid cook. 

Preceded in death by his mother, Katie Lindsey Carter, he is survived by his wife, Patsy L. Carter; sons, Cory S. (Amy) Carter of Germantown, TN; Chad B. Carter of Memphis, TN; granddaughters, Hannah M. Carter, Hayden H. Carter and Heidi C. Carter all of Germantown, TN; father, James M. Carter of Olive Branch; step-daughter, Lauren K. Hughes of Brandon, MS; step-son, Robert A. Hughes, III of Nashville, TN; fur babies, Colby and Millie. 


A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. (6815 Parkview Blvd.) In lieu of customary gifts, donations may be made to My Town Miracles, www.mytownmiracles.org.
