Nancy was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on Sept. 12, 1947 to Lois and Ray Richter. Nancy spent most of her life in Nashville, Tenn., working in the airline industry before spending her remaining years on the beach in Destin, Fla. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Nancy is survived by son Paul and wife Melissa and their three daughters Reese, Ellie and Alexis; son John and wife Jessica and son Mark; brother Jack Richter; and sisters Kathy Leonhardi and Becky Richter; nieces and nephews; mother Lois Richter and father Ray Richter; and also her companion Chuck Fortner.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice in Nancy's memory.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, 2201 N. Partin Drive, Niceville, FL. You may offer the family condolences at
