Mr. Griffith, CSM (Retired), US Army, faithfully served his country for 31 years, 11 months, and one day. During his military career he actively served in Desert Storm. After 30 years of service, he retired from Northwest Airlines then went to work for Warren Development retiring in 2021. Mr. Griffith was very patriotic, and he enjoyed talking politics. Spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite past-time and he loved his family greatly. Of all his titles he most loved being called “Duckie” by his grandchildren. Mr. Griffith was an active member of Riverview Baptist Church in Southside since 1988 and a lifetime member of the NRA. He will be missed for the compassionate and caring man he was, but forever remembered for being a great soldier, patriot and defender of our faith and church.
