I have the sad news to report that Thomas Hough passed away at approximately 3 a.m., February 14, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. He had been in the hospital for the last 3 weeks and grew steadily worse. My mother and sister were with him at the time of his passing and he went quietly into the Lord's arms. We feel that it is a blessing that the Lord called him on because he had suffered for the last few months. Uncle Thomas has requested to be cremated and we will honor his request. We plan at this time to hold a Memorial Service at Salem Heights Baptist Church, Hwy 84 East, Laurel, MS 39440 at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, February 21, 2009. We would ask that no flowers or food be sent, but if you wish, donate to the Gideon Organization or The Salvation Army, in his memory.
