Usher Thomaston "Bill" Davis, Jr.
1927 - May 18, 2012 

Bill Davis, 85, went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2012, with his family at his bedside.   He grew up in Moultrie, GA and attended Georgia Military College.  He married his college sweetheart Kathryn Maxwell of Thomasville, GA. Bill resided in Pensacola, FL since 1971.  He loved his family and enjoyed life to the fullest.  His favorite thing was music.  Bill always had a song in his heart and was a member of a Barbershop Quartet and the Singing Samaritans.  He loved boating, fishing, camping and football.  He received the Colquitt County Sports "Hall of Fame" award for football, diving, and baseball.  He worked contract sales selling banking equipment with Diebold, Florida Business Systems and then owner of K&B Enterprises. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, "Kitty"; daughters, Brenda Davis, Kathy Johnson (Steve); granddaughters, Kristi and Kelly Johnson of Pensacola; brother, Grady Davis (JoAnn) of Hideaway, TX; sister, Claire Smith of Atlanta, GA; and close friend of the family Ellen Brassell. Visitation will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 22, 2012 followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at Cokesbury United Methodist Church (9th Ave. Campus). Burial will be follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
