Obituary​

Vernon Wilson Raker, Jr., 77, of Sharpsburg passed away on December 21, 2020. He was born in Tallahassee,
Florida on August 16, 1943 to the late Vernon and Frances Raker.

Vernon is survived by his wife, Ruth Raker; sons, Jeffrey Pate (Krystal) and Chris Pate (Alicia); daughters,
Tracy Boyle (David) and Franny Hampton (Shane); sister, Frances Lawhon; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-
grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made
to the Alzheimer’s Association, https://www.alz.org/
