Obituary​

Born in Nelson, GA, Captain Bill Brown was a veteran of World War II, serving as an Army Air Force pilot in the Pacific Theater.  Following the war, he began a career as a commercial pilot for American Airlines, and Southern Airways.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara, a former Delta stewardess, their five daughters, one son and thirteen grandchildren.  Funeral mass was celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic church and entombment was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis.
