Captain William O. (Bill) White, of Fairburn, passed away March 9, 2011. His love for aviation began when he was 14 years old.  Mr. White's desire to become a pilot was strong enough to carry him through many obstacles of the hiring process to become a commercial pilot.  He flew for TACA Airlines, Southern Airways, Republic Airline and Northwest Airlines before retiring in 1988.  Upon retirement as a Captain, he then enjoyed 10 years of motor homing and association with Safari Motor Coaches and their loyal owners club.  There were many friends throughout his journeys that remain dear to him.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Inez White and sister, Susan Admt.  Mr. White is survived by his wife Judy White of Fairburn,; children, Kim Wood of Newnan; Tim White of Pensacola, FL; Debbie Morris of Pensacola, FL; Chip Davis and his wife Alex of Smyrna; sister, Sandra White of Pocasset, MA; brother, Richard White of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Lauren Wood; Seth Wood; Austin Lafford; Jimmy Wood; Billy Wood; Cal David and Catherine Annabelle Davis.  Memorial services will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Mr. Jimmy Orr officiating.  Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.  In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to The American Cancer Society, P.
