Obituary​

Home going celebration for Mr. Willie William Turnipseed will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church, 216 W. Mill St., Jonesboro, Rev. James E Harris, eulogist.  Interment Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.  His remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Nellie Turnipseed; 5 children, Ms. Joyce Eason, Mr. and Mrs. W. James Turnipseed (Lynne), Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McNear (Thelma), Mr. and Mrs. Edwards Turnipseed (Donna), and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Turnipseed (Tanya); 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, 1 aunt, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  The viewing will be held today from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, chapel of W.
