Mr. Wylie Dillard Blount, Jr., age 83, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. He was born in Gough, Georgia on October 8, 1934 to the late Nettye McClelland Blount and Wylie Dillard Blount. Wylie is preceded in death by his sister, Anne Lorraine Bailey of Vidette, Georgia. Wylie graduated from Hapeville High School in Hapeville, Georgia. He was a mechanic for Southern Airways where he met his bride of 61 years, Ginger from Sarasota, Florida. After they both retired, they made Eatonton/Lake Sinclair their permanent home. Wylie was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, loved to fish, boat and thoroughly enjoyed the lake life and the many friends they made.

Mr. Blount is survived by his wife Virginia “Ginger” Blount, daughter Lori Sundal and husband Rob of Dunwoody, Georgia, granddaughter Laura Sundal and nephew Steve Bailey of Vidette, Georgia and family members
